Email Configuration

If you wish to use a mail client program like Thunderbird or Outlook to connect to our server, please use the following settings.

For the installation of Thunderbird you will find a complete example here. We always recommend an encrypted data transfer via SSL or TLS in order to prevent third parties from reading your access data in public WLAN, for example.

Protocol	Port	Connection	Authentification	Description
IMAP-S	993	SSL or TLS	unencrypted	Emails remain on the server.
POP3	995	SSL	unencrypted	Emails are fetched from the server and saved on the client.
SMTP	587	unencrypted or TLS	unencrypted	Outgoing mail server: This protocol is used to send messages.

For incoming and outgoing mail the server mail.weberhofer.at is used.
